Monday's winner for Giveaway Week is no other than our very own SHANNON MCKELDEN!!! Shannon is a successful writer of the very excellent VENUS ENVY, a supportive Tiara, an all-around great mom and an extremely sweet girl to boot! Yay Shannon!

Make sure to post the book you want so I can mail it to you asap :)
And in other news: one of the best aspects of working at Microsoft are all the "self-improvement" classes we are encourage to take just to better ourselves for the company. For those of you who know me well, you know about my major case of stage fright. To combat this for future presentations (and yes, book signings
Wish me luck!
I don't know what happened to my review of MR. BROOKS yesterday. Continuing on...I expected a Jekyll and Hyde type deal, but it was actually Mr. Brooks talking to his alter-ego (the deliciously evil William Hurt). Mr. Brooks is trying to recover from his killing addiction, but he finds himself being blackmailed...into killing again.
The movie had some great potential, but fell flat especially towards the end. I can't quite put my finger on what bothered me...maybe it was the lack of resolution. What did the characters learn? What was the journey? What changed at the end of the movie?
These questions weren't answered. Demi Moore was extremely hot though :)
Overall 2/5.
I ALSO watched KNOCKED UP this past weekened...review coming tomorrow! (I watch WAY too many movies!!)
Enjoy the giveaway folks!

Public speaking class is going well, am learning lots of tips on what to do. Almost makes me want to set up a talk with my team so I can practice the new skills. Almost, but not quite :)
"Oreos WITH chai"?
Can I just say that I absolutely adore your titles? I wish I was as good at naming my MSes...
Not entering the contest...just saying Thanks so much! For the contest and for the rocking good bio you wrote for me above. Not sure I can live up to that! LOL!

Kiki: Fake n' Bake is a FABULOUS title. I love it and the story idea too...I think this will be your breakthrough novel, love the concept.
Shann: You are TOO too welcome babe!
Oreos With Chai! (Which sounds absolutely delicious, by the way).
Good luck with your public speaking class. I'll be at one of your booksignings so you'll have a friendly face in the crowd.
Oh, and if I win, I'd love "Leaving Paradise".
